Community Strengthening Officer, Social Worker, and Cultural Worker
Eh Su is the secretary and general coordinator of the arts and cultural group, the Australian Karen Cultural Association Inc. He came from the Karen State in Myanmar and was a refugee in Thailand for ten years before becoming an Australian Citizen. Eh Su has been trained as a professional Teacher in Thailand and now works as a Community Strengthening Officer, Social Worker, and Cultural Worker in Wyndham Community and Education Centre. Eh Su has been trained in playing the Karen traditional harp and music and in the performance of Karen dances. He has performed in many cultural events in Tasmania, Victoria, and NSW. Eh Su is also currently working to produce educational, teaching, and inspirational videos online for learners of English and Karen languages.

This Dome is an art project that combines Karen music, poetry, and video recording that examines the life of migrants and refugees during a lockdown period. We have incorporated spoken word and music to produce slices of life experienced by a family, community, and friends during the lockdown and amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
