Naazi Kakavand

Visual Artist

Naazi Kakavand is a Iranian born fashion designer and visual artist with more than 20 years of experience.

She now works primarily in Persian Dessert Jelly art, Jewellery, Wedding design and decoration and Sermeh embroidery, which is an Iranian style of embroidery.

She is now based in Melbourne where she practices as a visual artist, creating solo work, collaborating with other artists. Naazi has participated in number of group exhibitions and work as a coordinator of an Iranian language school.
