Grant Writing Workshops for Artists of Colour

MAV and Jonathan Homsey will be running a grant-writing workshop on with a follow up one-on-one feedback sessions available for those who attend.

Arts maker and manager Jonathan Homsey wants to help ease that fear away. Across an online workshop and 1 on 1 consultation, he will work with you untangling the code-switching world of grant writing and get you ready to submit your best application yet.

Taught from his lived experience as a Queer Person of Colour, this is catered for fellow artists of colour who are applying for the 2022 City of Melbourne’s Art Grantsround opening 3 May. This workshop is great for emerging artists or a mid-career to established artist who wants to brush up on their skills and the context of grants in this new decade.
