Multicultural Place in Springvale will come alive on Sunday 6 March 2022 for the program launch of In Situ with musika, dance, elemental frequencies pulsating global rhythms. As we gather and honour the incredible women of our community in the lead up to International Women’s Day 2022.
Featuring live performances and demonstrations by an exceptional lineup of local talent and beyond – we warmly invite you and your families to join us. Featured acts include; Sounds of Polynesia, Natalia Mann, Jay Dabgar Trio, the Kathak Dancers, DJ NARU feat freestyle movement maker Dee and finishing off the day on a complete rhythmical high with Ausecuma Beats.
The day will launch In Situ a two-month program of art installations, performances, gatherings and events programmed by local artists into public spaces across Dandenong, Noble Park, and Springvale.
The event is funded through the City of Greater Dandenong as part of the state government’s Outdoor Economy Package.

In Situ is a series of art installations, performances, gatherings, and events co-designed and programmed by local artists into public spaces across Dandenong, Noble Park, and Springvale from March – June 2022. Every activation is produced with the purpose to elevate and spotlight the strengths and creativity of diverse communities across the City of Greater Dandenong. Through the exchange of story, values, and creative practices across multiple artforms. Community method making and cultural design are at the core of its program delivery.
