Rise of South Sudan (ROSS) is a one-day music and arts festival to celebrate contemporary and multidisciplinary artistic talents in Victoria’s South Sudanese and broader African communities.

As a lead-up to the festival, ROSS has combined forces with MAV and local business Kush Empire Entertainment, to celebrate the launch of their new entertainment venue, situated in the heart of Dandenong.

A night of live music performances, free food and soft drinks. An event where all ages can come together to enjoy and celebrate local musicians and an exciting new venture.

Rise of South Sudan is supported by the Victorian State Government and Kush Empire Entertainment.

In Situ is a series of art installations, performances, gatherings, and events co-designed and programmed by local artists into public spaces across Dandenong, Noble Park, and Springvale from March – June 2022. Every activation is produced with the purpose to elevate and spotlight the strengths and creativity of diverse communities across the City of Greater Dandenong. Through the exchange of story, values, and creative practices across multiple artforms. Community method making and cultural design are at the core of its program delivery.
