Calling all soccer enthusiasts! Worried you’re going to experience World Cup withdrawals?

Be a part of the MAV All-Star Soccer Team at our Emerge In Yarra 2018 event, South to South (S2S), at Atherton Gardens, on 22 July, 12.30 – 4.30 PM, and put your soccer skills to good use! 

All skill & fitness levels are welcome to join in the fun with the community.

Presented by Multicultural Arts Victoria in partnership with Vibrating Planet, Emerge in Yarra 2018’s massive launch event, South 2 South (S2S) is a cross cultural collaboration between Australia and Colombia featuring Cumbia Cosmonauts, ChibCha, 1/6, Joshua Tavares and more.

The day will be an inaugural celebration of an ongoing project under the same title ‘South 2 South’ that will change cultural narratives and create permanent connections between the two countries.

With a nod to the soccer world cup fever, S2S is a free all age’s event, featuring DJs, live music, dance, kids’ activities by Melbourne City FC & Yarra library services, arts & craft market stalls and soccer matches between community soccer clubs,  radio hosts, music industry and local artists.

Held in the heart of Fitzroy, an apt area known for its cultural richness, S2S is a fantastic day to be enjoyed by all.
