Multicultural Arts Victoria is currently inviting Expressions of Interest for Emerge in the North Festival 2018.

Emerge in the North Festival began with a pilot program in winter 2017 with a free day-long festival and a range of smaller local events in the City of Whittlesea. It is a place for artists and communities from Indigenous, refugee and emerging communities to have a voice.

In 2018, it will be a series of artist-initiated events in a week-long festival from June 22-30, across the northern suburbs; with potential for a range of exhibitions, art installations, cooking demonstrations, live music, theatre, storytelling, spoken word, dance and conversations.

Submission deadline: 5pm, Thursday 25 January 2018
