Role: MAV Programming Manager
EFT: 0.8 or four days per week
Salary: $80,000 pro rata
Reporting to: MAV CEO
This is a unique opportunity for a Person of Colour, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse or First Nations creative to lead programming for MAV, the state’s key diversity arts organisation. With the capacity to underpin cultural transformation at all levels, the Programming Manager is empowered to lead a bold and compelling annual program of multi-disciplinary work that challenges prevailing cultural narratives, in partnership with artists and communities.
You will be an experienced manager/leader of cultural programs, drawing from your professional practice in the arts and your lived experience as a PoC, CaLD or First Nations creative. You bring insight into the capacity of the arts to create social and cultural change, within a racial justice framework. You are passionately committed to self-determined practice and see your role as a facilitator of opportunity.
