MAV’s 2015 Music & Spoken Word showcase

Multicultural Arts Victoria is proud to launch the videos of its 2015 Music and Spoken Word program spanning interfaith spoken word performances, new EPKs, exceptional musical collaborations and insights into some of Australia’s most exciting rising stars from our diverse communities.

Common Ground
MAV’s inter-faith spoken word program culminated in 8 new poems set to a soundscapes created by local producers So.Crates (Cazeaux O.S.L.O and Skomes). The video series from the 2015 project, filmed and directed by Rogue Pixel, is now online at Common Ground on MAV’s YouTube.

ReMastered Myths
New intercultural national collaborations and eclectic new musical genres representative of Melbourne’s unique demographic, filmed and directed by Rogue Pixel, featuring original projections and video by Claudia Sangiorgi Dalimore. The incredible 2015 collaborations are now online at ReMastered Myths on MAV’s Youtube.

Producers’ LoungeCatch an insight into MAV’s annual music mentoring project for young emerging producers from culturally diverse backgrounds to develop skills in production under the guidance of respected artist and producer Mohamed Komba (a.k.a Momo, Diafrix).
