Save the date! Piers Festival returns in 2016 in April!

Multicultural Arts Victoria will present the 5th Piers Festival on Sunday 3 April this year.

The festival celebrates our Indigenous and shared migration stories at the historical Port Melbourne piers precinct with a range of diverse music, dance, food, forums and exhibitions. Details to be announced shortly.

Artists, cultural communities or stallholders interested in participating should email Miriam Abud or call +61 3 9188 3681. Applications close Thursday 4 February.

Volunteers positions now open, interested applicants should email Freyja Macfarlane with your CV and this Piers Festival 2016 – Volunteer Form completed. Applications close Friday 4 March.

Multicultural Arts Victoria would also like to wish you a wonderful Australia Day weekend as we reflect, acknowledge and honour the First People of this land and celebrate our current diverse population of migrants, refugees and cultural communities. We believe in strength in diversity and take inspiration from the 2016 Australians of the Year National Finalists, as selected by the Australia Day Committee.
