“The Gathering” is an intimate act of coming together of artists Lamine Sonko with his trio and Nela Trifković with her ensemble SARAY Iluminado in the ritual of musical, cultural and poetic exchange. Through original compositions, traditional melodies and stories that accompany them these artists transform the intimate surroundings of MEMO HALL into a temple of West African and West Balkan connection.

Outer Urban Projects is excited to announce the return season of THE AUDITION with a Melbourne-metro tour.
Asylum seekers and actors are both outsiders with uncertain status. Inspired by two young Iranian-Australian writers/performers Milad Norouzi and Sahra Davoudi with acclaimed Australian playwrights Christos Tsiolkas, Melissa Reeves, Milad Norouzi, Patricia Cornelius, Tes Lyssiotis and Wahibe Moussa, THE AUDITION examines the parallels between actors auditioning and refugees seeking asylum in Australia.
