Membership
In being a member of Multicultural Arts Victoria (MAV) you will be supporting the valuable work of the organisation as Victoria’s leading arts organisation embracing cultural diversity.
What does membership entitle me to?
As a community-led organisation, MAV’s members are entitled to voting rights at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) with opportunities in determining the policy direction of the organisation through consultations. As a MAV member, you are eligible to nominate a candidate for a position on the board.
What is an AGM?
An AGM is a meeting held once a year that all members are invited to attend. The purpose of the AGM is to give members a report on MAV’s activities and finances for the previous year, to allow time for members to ask questions, and to elect members to governing board.
Membership Fees
The schedule of annual memberships as follows:
Artists/Concession: $15 + GST
Individual: $35 + GST
Group: $55 +GST
When registering for group membership, please note that you are entitled to one collective vote as a singular entity.
Membership automatically expires after one year, and you will be notified with an option to renew should you wish to do so.
How do I become a member?
Please use the submission portal below to apply for membership. All new membership applications are reviewed and approved by the Board of the Organisation.
Your membership will be tabled at the next Board meeting and you should receive confirmation within 28 days.
