The Healthy Equal Youth (HEY) Grants are an annual small grant round of up to $10,000 for LGBTQIA+ projects and initiatives offered by Youth Affairs Council Victoria.
These grants have recently supported great projects auspiced through MAV, and we encourage young LGBTIQA+ artists from our communities to come along and find out how it could support your project ideas.
There are two streams of HEY Grants:
Youth led projects for LGBTIQA+ young people with innovative projects they know will support their LGBTIQA+ peers. A youth led application must be proposed and led by people who are under 25.
Social Connectedness projects for services to expand or improve their support for LGBTIQA+ young people, and for targeted projects for LGBTIQA+ young people that will improve their mental health and wellbeing.
What to expect:
Come along for information on how to apply for a HEY grant! There will be information provided by Bec from the HEY grant team, and the opportunity for a Q&A at the end. Round 14 of HEY Grants will open on Monday 15th July.
