Meet Titan Debirioun, a multifaceted artist known for his prowess in photography, videography, music, and all things creative, hailing from Wyndham. Titan's journey into the arts began through community programs, which not only sparked his passion but also provided him with opportunities to showcase his talents across Victoria and beyond.
Now, Titan is on a mission to empower African youth in Tarneit and Point Cook through the Higher Vision filmmaking program. This program isn't just about creating films; it's about amplifying the voices and stories of young creatives in the community.
Participants in the Higher Vision program will have access to mentors, equipment, and resources to bring their ideas to life on screen. Titan's approach is deeply rooted in his own experiences of struggling to find creative outlets in the area. He understands firsthand the importance of providing a nurturing space where young artists can freely express themselves and explore their passions.
Drawing from his expertise in running programs like High Demand, focusing on the music industry, Titan seamlessly combines his knowledge with video and photography to offer a holistic learning experience. Through workshops, mentorship sessions, and collaboration opportunities, participants will not only learn technical filmmaking skills but also gain invaluable insights from industry professionals.
The Higher Vision program is more than just a workshop; it's a transformative journey of self-discovery and artistic growth. Titan's process involves creating a supportive environment where participants can experiment, learn, and ultimately showcase their unique perspectives and narratives through film.
HIGHER VISION was created in partnership with Scanlon Foundation and Foundation House. This project is funded by Multicultural Arts Victoria (MAV), and supported by VicHealth through its Future Healthy: Future Reset program.
