Tiaal Mi Goa presents Thrive Cast
🌱 Introducing Thrive Cast: Amplifying Mental and Social Wellbeing 🌱
Welcome to Thrive Cast, a mental and social wellbeing podcast initiated by CMY Ballarat and Tiaal Mi Goa as part of the Flourish Fest—a mental health and wellbeing festival for young people.
Thrive Cast is funded by Multicultural Arts Victoria and supported by VicHealth through its Future Healthy: Future Reset program.
Meaning ‘good mental health’ in Nuer, Tiaal Mi Goa is a mental health support group that aims to provide a safe space for culturally diverse young people in Ballarat. Through Thrive Cast, we're proud to showcase the brilliant work of these young individuals as they share their raw and personal insights on a range of youth wellbeing and mental health issues affecting Ballarat's youth.
Season 1 of the podcast runs from July 2023 to October 2024, featuring episodes produced in the Central Highlands & Wimmera regions, highlighting the resilience, experiences, and journeys of culturally diverse youth. Thrive Cast is more than just a podcast; it's a platform for empowerment, destigmatisation, and advocacy for mental health and social wellbeing.
Join us as we amplify the voices of our diverse community, break barriers, and create meaningful conversations around mental health and wellbeing.
